Mavis Lynn Hall Adams, age 69, wife of Damon Adams of Stanton, KY passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Saint Joseph East in Lexington, KY. Born in Lexington, KY she was the daughter of the late Willis Hall and the late Carrie Pigg Hall. She was a former administrative secretary at Veterans Administration Hospital and she was a member of Stanton Christian Church. She is survived by her husband, Damon Adams and by four step children: Bill (Connie) Adams of Stanton, David (Patty) Adams and Candie (Doug) Baker both of Irvine and Carlotta (Jake) Opperman of Troy, OH; one brother, Kenneth (Pat) Hall of Versailles; one sister Vanessa "Red" Marshall and her husband Jerry of Lexington; eight step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; two very special nieces and two very special nephews. Funeral services officiated by Tom Graham and Bro. Greg Webb will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 11:00 A.M. until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Kennon Cemetery, Hardwicks Creek Road, Clay City, KY with Kris Adams, Kevin Adams, Erick Marshall, Danny Hall, Perry Long and Bobby Bayer serving as active pallbearers.
