Debra Lynn Snowden, age 58, of Lake Neomia Road, Clay City, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Marcum and Wallace Hospital, Irvine, Kentucky. Born in Winchester, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Elva Thomas Snowden and the late Evelyn Marie Powell Snowden. She was a former nurse at the Christian Church Homes of KY. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard Alan Snowden. She is survived by her daughter, Lucinda Slone and her son-in-law, Chris Slone of Winchester; one brother, James Russell (Kay) Snowden of Cynthiana and by three sisters, Darlene Glover of Stanton, Jane Robb and Cathy (Steve) Jones both of Clay City. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Mike Rogers will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Powell's Valley Cemetery with Jason Rogers, Steve Jones, Steve Randall, Donnie Miller, Mark Miller, Charlie Roark and Hunter Mitchell serving as active pallbearers and Alma Moore, Sister Linda Arbaugh, and the congregation of the Church of God at Zanesville, OH will be honorary pallbearers.
