Lacy E. Means, age 85, died Wednesday, November 30th surrounded by her children. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Adams and the wife of the late Bill Means. She was an employee of Bundy Tubing for 10 years and retired from Winchester Coating. She cherished her beloved fur baby, Pepper and really enjoyed gardening. She was a member of Howard Mills Baptist Church, Montgomery County. Lacy is survived by six children: Mary Coffey, Darlene Morton (Harry), Willie Means (Sally), Shirley Bowen (Randy), Jay Means (Debbie), Jelena Noel (Kevin) and 17 very special grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren, whom she adored. She was preceded in death by three grandchildren Shim Coffey, Shan Faulkner, Sharar Means and a son-in-law, Bobby Coffey. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Marion Brewer and Bro. Willie Means will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, KY with Mary Coffey, Darlene Morton, Willie Means, Shirley Bowen, Jay Means and Jelena Noel serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Corrine Hatton, Greg Briscoe, David Goodwin, Connie Mills, Phyllis McCall, Wynona Blythe, Dr. Charles Salthers, Brenda Martin Hood and Dr. Scott Seitz.
