Daniel Lee "Goat" Tipton, age 58, Cat Creek Road, Stanton, KY passed away on November 13, 2016 at his residence. Born in Winchester, KY he was the son of the late Harold and Hazel Horn Tipton. He was a former pipeline employee of Kenney Construction and a member of Mill Knob Baptist Church. Goat loved hunting and fishing and watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Tipton. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Barker Tipton; one daughter, Felicia (Joshua) Watson of Stanton; two brothers: Lloyd Tipton and Robert Tipton, both of Stanton; four sisters: Betty (Austin) Wickline of Stanton, Barbara (Cecil Tipton) Lane of Stanton, Tena McIntosh of Georgetown, OH and Mallissa Johnson of Clay City along with three grandchildren: Aaliyha Watson, Emily Watson and Trinity Watson. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Johnny Hurt and Chester Crabtree will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Blake Tipton, Shelby Tipton, Keith Tipton, Mitchell Tipton, Kevin Chaney, David Goodwin and James Perry.
