Shirlene Crabtree Axon

Shirlene Crabtree Axon, age 47, of Stanton, Kentucky passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Clark Regional Medical Center. Born in Winchester, Kentucky she was the daughter of Shirley Clayton and Bonnie Roberts Crabtree of Stanton and she was a former teacher's aide with the Powell County Board of Education. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her daughter, Amy (Chris) Jordan of Hartford, KY; her companion, Jason Epperson of Stanton; two brothers, Charlie (Leanne) Crabtree of Stanton and Travis (Stacie) Crabtree of Clay City; two grandchildren, Emma Jordan and Zola Jordan and four nieces: Samantha Crabtree, Alexandra Crabtree, Mackenzie Crabtree and Raelynn Crabtree. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Brad Epperson and Bro. Johnny Hurt will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Roberts Family Cemetery with Donavan Crabtree, Lawrence Crabtree, Chester Ray Crabtree, Bobby Drake, Tim Frazier, Carl Drake, Charles "Punkin" Drake, Rick Roberts, Earl Wayne Brewer and Willie Crabtree serving as pallbearers.
