Maynard Jerry Anderson, age 75, of McCormick Road, Mt. Sterling, KY passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at his residence. Born in Kenton County, KY he was the son of the late William Maynard Anderson and the late Emily Bell Dunaway Anderson Booth. He was an Army Veteran and former machinist with Dayton Tool and Dye who collected Indian artifacts. He was a member of Jeffersonville First Church of God and a supporter of Riders in Christ Motorcycle Ministry. He is survived by his special friend Geneva Campbell, as well as three sons: Ernest Michael (Judy) Anderson of Clay City, James Emanuel (Holly Sams) Anderson of Mt. Sterling and Robert Dean (Yolanda Gail) Anderson of Jackson; four daughters: Sonya Lee (Dennis) Cox of Carlisle, Lenora Mae (Justin) Searcy of Adelaide, South Australia, Melissa Sue (Charley) McCall of Jeffersonville and Emily (Irvine "Buddy") Clay of Mt. Sterling; five half brothers: Isaiah Anderson of Wisconsin, Jim Anderson, John Anderson, Bruce Anderson and Paul Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK; two half sisters, Brenda Garde of Norman, OK and Tracy Wagner of Austin, TX along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Raymond Townsend, Preacher Robert Dean Anderson and April Anderson will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was met at the Gates of Heaven by his grandchildren; Leslie Michelle Anderson, Melissa Jo Anderson, George Henry Anderson, Tonya Denise Cox, Gage Hedges and Mariah Nicole Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are William Tyler Anderson and Kadynce Crowe. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
