Jessie F. Minnish

Jessie Faye (Curtis) Minnish, age 83, departed life on July 26, 2016 at her residence in Dayton, Ohio.  Born on March 30, 1933 in Powell County, KY she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl Barnett Curtis and she was a former employee of Ohio Bell Telephone.  She is survived by three loving children:  Stephanie (Rick) Shumard, Robert E. (Chaya) Minnish, Jr. and Rochelle (Danny) Kay; seven grandchildren, who loved their (Big Mama):  Jason L. (Tracy) Doggett, Sean M. Doggett, Amanda L. Minnish, Robert E. (Jamie) Minnish, III, Erica M. Kay (P.J.), Michelle J. (Gary) Cochran and Rikkie E. Shumard and by eight great grandchildren:  Ava and Blake Doggett, James, Thomas and Andrew Minnish, Olivia and Jaxson Cochran and Xavier Brown; three sisters in law:  Betty Curtis, Wanda Curtis and Barbara Curtis; one brother in law, Foster Rose; former husband, Robert E. (Middy) Minnish, Sr. and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three brothers:  Obert G. Curtis, Jackie A. Curtis and Ambrose Curtis and by her sister, Phyllis Rose.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins Sunday at noon until time of service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Stanton Cemetery with Jason Doggett, Sean Doggett, Gary Cochran, Robbie Minnish, Hershel Shumard and P.
