Patsy Sue Martin, 69, widow of Glen Wood Martin, of Stanton passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Clark Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 29, 1946 in Vicco, Kentucky to Silas and Arlie Bowling Mullins. Pat, as she was known to her friends and family, was a proud member of Clay City First Church of God and previously Stanton First Church of God. She fervently loved her church and church family, and treasured each one of them. Pat was a former member of the Eastern Stars. She worked alongside her husband at Stanton Furniture Company for many years, as well as at the Woodard Heirs Oil Lease. She also enjoyed the peace and tranquility she received from hard work on the farm with her husband. Pat later became a caregiver for the elderly, which was her true passion. She loved being with many special people during their final days, and she embraced the special gift God gave her to comfort and love families. Pat’s greatest love was her family, and she praised God continually for blessing her with them each day. She was a true blessing to all she met. She always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She will be sorely missed by her family, but they have great comfort in knowing she is with the Lord, her precious husband, mother, and sister. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, and her mother and father, Silas and Arlie Mullins, as well as her sister, Katrina Peters. She is survived by her beloved daughters, Suzanne (Cody) Meadows and Arlina (Mike) Short. Pat’s pride and joys were her grandchildren, Alexandra Grace Gulley, Hannah Meadows, Nancy Hilario, and Mikey Short. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Lexi, Madi, and Arlon Hilario. Pat is also survived by her brothers and sister, Claster (Zada) Mullins, Berea, Silas (Gail) Mullins, Port St. John, Florida, Ed (Marianne) Mullins, West Milton, Ohio, Joyce Bradshaw, Stanton, and Joe Mullins, Stanton.
