Shawna Meadows
April 4, 1967 — June 21, 2016
Shawna Faye Meadows, age 49, of Clay City, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the University of Kentucky Hospital. Shawna was a former veterinary technician who had a great love of animals. Shawna, like her parents and siblings, had a true love of nature, it's beauty and surroundings. She loved the outdoors, and she always was quick to appreciate the beauty of God's creations. Shawna was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Faye Meadows, and her grandparents, Roscoe and Nellie Meadows and Enoch and Reba Bentley. She is survived by her father, Larry Meadows, her brothers, Leif (Kelly) Meadows and Cody (Suzanne) Meadows, her beloved nieces and nephews, Brennon, Hannah, Alexandra, and Green Meadows, as well as a host of special aunts, uncles, and friends. Memorial services officiated by Bro. Brad Epperson will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Clay City First Church of God with visitation beginning at 2:00 P.M. Graveside services will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Sunday in Kennon Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Red River Historical Society, P. O. Box 195, 4541 Main Street, Clay City, KY 40312.
