Hazel Morton Hatton, age 86, widow of Alfred Earl Hatton passed away June 20, 2016 at Fountain Circle Health and Rehabilitation Center, Winchester, Kentucky. Born in Powell County, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late John T. Morton and the late Ella Morton. Hazel was a former seamstress at Curlee Clothing Factory and a member of Clay City Church of Christ. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis Tucker; her son, Alfred Danny Hatton; one brother, Cecil Morton and by one sister, Lillian Morton. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Hatton of Jeffersonville and David (Connie) Hatton of Irvine; three daughters, Dorothy Sue (Allen) Willoughby of Winchester, Carolyn Henderson of North Middletown and Kathy Hatton of North Middletown; one brother, Charlie Morton of Dayton, OH; three sisters, Patricia (Dwight) McIntosh of Stanton, Mary Kate (Eugene) Olson of Georgetown and Fern Morton of Ashland; 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services officiated by Bro. M. C. Rice will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 24, 2016 at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hatton Creek Cemetery alongside her husband, Alfred Earl Hatton. Pallbearers are Mark Roberts, Paul Roberts, Kevin Willoughby, Jerry Atkinson, Cody Hatton and Michael Hight. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
