James Trent Terry, age 57, of High Rock Road, Stanton, KY passed away on February 17, 2016 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born in Hazard, KY he was the son of the late Thornton and Hazel Prater Terry and he was a graduate of Morehead State University with a degree in Environmental Science. He was a deacon at Cat Creek Church of Christ, a forklift operator with AGC Flat Glass Company and owner of Hemlock Retreat Cabin Company. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Randolph Terry and Ralph Paul Terry and by one sister, Linda West. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Mullins Terry and one son, Eric Steven Terry both of Stanton; six brothers: Shorty (Shirley) Terry of West Liberty, Greg (Virginia) Terry of Ohio, Phillip (Linda) Terry of West Liberty, Harold (Phyllis) Terry of Ashland, Darrell (Judy) Terry of Ashland and Danny (Sherry) Terry of West Liberty; four sisters: Mabel Keith of Florida, Lois Wilson of Lexington, Barbara Schirmer of Lexington and Charlene Vest of Lexington; his mother and father-in-law, Homer and Virginia Mullins of Mousie and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Dwaine Meadows and Bro. Relzda McNabb will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Stonegate Cemetery, Stanton, KY with Ritchie Rednour, Dustin Meadows, Michael Terry, Richard Terry, Brian Terry, Jeff Terry, Kevin Terry, Evyian Terry, Troy Mullins and Eddie Fischer serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the men of Cat Creek Church of Christ. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
