Freda Kay Thompson, age 64, widow of Donald Roger Thompson, of Cow Creek Road, Stanton, KY passed away at Baptist Health Lexington on January 2, 2016. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Elza and Rosemary Adkins Parker. She was a former line technician at Continental Metal Specialty and a health care provider with Mepco Home Health Agency. In addition to her husband and her parents she was also preceded in death by four brothers: Donald Parker, Blaine Parker, Bobby Parker and Kenneth Parker; one sister, Kimberly Parker and by one great grandchild, Hannah Tincher. She is survived by one daughter, Regina Back and her husband Charlie of Stanton; two grandchildren: Faith Tincher and her husband Justin and Steven Ritchie of Stanton; five great grandchildren: Alexis Fugate, Zachary Tincher, Landon Tincher, Matthew Tincher and Kaylee Tincher; four brothers: Mikel (Donna) Parker of Amanda, OH, Ed (Betty) Parker and Danny (Carla) Parker of Minford, OH and Luke Parker of Columbus, OH and five sisters: Glenna Casto of TN, Maxine McLeese of Portsmouth, OH, Teresa (Jeff Maynard) Parker of Canova, WV, Carma (Mark) Pollard of Minford, OH and Wanda (Rob) Nuttal of Cape Coral, FL. Memorial services officiated by Jenell Brewer will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY.
