Luther Mcintosh

Luther McIntosh, age 87, widower of Thelma McIntosh of Boone Creek Road , Stanton , KY passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 at the Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center , Campton , KY. Born in Owsley County he was the son of the late William and Sally Spicer McIntosh. He was a retired auto driver for Ford Motor Company and a member of the Old Time Pentecostal Church of God in Jackson . In addition to his parents and his wife he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Linda McIntosh; one brother, McKinley McIntosh and by three sisters, Bertila McIntosh, Oma McIntosh and Gertrude Hall. He is survived by one son, Gary McIntosh of Garden City, MI; three daughters: Janice McIntosh of Campton, Patricia (Michael) Sowels of Canton, MI and Barbara Noble of Stanton; two sisters: Nancy Turner of Jackson and Mary (Cecil) Owens of Monroe, MI; eight grandchildren: Tina Kolbas, Craig Morgan, Kimberly Martel, Jeffrey Hensley, Jennifer Pendleton, Kyle Sowels, Miranda McIntosh and Conner McIntosh and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Terry Landsaw and Rev. Mike Galvin will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Stonegate Cemetery , 27 Stonegate Drive , Stanton , KY with Craig Morgan, Rick McIntosh, Doug McIntosh, Josh Pendleton, Ryan Williams, and Simon Turner, Jr. serving as active pallbearers.
