Hazel Wanda "Mamaw" Ginter, age 80, wife of Billy Ginter of Clay City, KY passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born in Estill County, KY she was the daughter of the late Marion and Virginia Shouse Watson. She was a former factory employee of Bundy Tubing and she worked 15 years at Hood's Skating Rink. She was an excellent homemaker, an avid reader and she loved to cross stitch and crochet. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Darrell Ballard and by her daughter, Teresa Ballard along with seven brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her husband, Billy Ginter; one daughter, Pam and her husband Larry Hood of Stanton; two grandchildren: Sara Hood Osborne and Billy Hood; four great grandchildren: Adam Osborne, Izabella Osborne, Luke Hood and Brooklynn Hood along with numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Sunday and funeral services officiated by Bro. James Harold Combs with eulogy by Chuck Ginter will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 19, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Kennon Cemetery with Jimmy Spry, Gary Spry, Chuck Spry, David Watson, Ben Watson and Eric Puckett serving as active pallbearers. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
