Alvie Patrick, age 68, Frames Branch Road, Clay City, KY passed away on September 26, 2015 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center, Mount Vernon, KY following a long illness. Born in Clay City, KY he was the son of Alice Hardy Patrick Crowe and the late Roy Patrick. Alvie was an Army Veteran, a former factory employee of IBM and a former bus driver for the Powell County School System. He was a member of Amvets Post 67 and the Clay City First Church of God. He is survived by his mother, Alice Hardy Patrick Crowe; one brother, Ralph W. Patrick and his wife Sharon of Clay City; two nephews: Bobby Patrick and his wife Jennifer and Jason Patrick; one niece, Stacy Linn and her husband Brian along with one special great nephew and eight special great nieces. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Max Molihan and Bro. Ted Linkous will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in Vaughns Mill Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Bobby Patrick, Jason Patrick, Brian Linn, Billy Patrick, Glen Patrick and Dwight Smith. Honorary pallbearers are all of his visitors at home and the staff of Rockcastle Regional Hospital and Respiratory Care Center.
