Lorene F. Bowen, age 82, of Jeffersonville passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Fountain Circle Health and Rehab, Winchester, KY. Born in Stanton, KY she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Lou Nannie Neal Fryar. She was a former factory employee of Continental Metal Specialty. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one grandchild, James Bowen and by two sisters, Dorothy Holman and Lillian Fryar. She is survived by two sons: Billy Joe Bowen and Michael Bowen, both of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Claudia Burnett and her husband Robert of Georgetown; four grandchildren: Bobby Joe Bowen, Brittany Bowen, Michael Bowen, Phillip Campbell and step grandchild, Chandra Burnett along with one great grandchild, Codey Bowen. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Paul Day will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Stanton Cemetery with Bobby Joe Bowen, Michael Bowen, Phillip Campbell, Steve Mann, Jerald Wayne Faulkner and David Neal serving as pallbearers.
