Kenneth E. Roberts, age 86, of Paint Creek Road, Stanton, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at U K Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born in Stanton, KY he was the son of the late James Madison Roberts and the late Myrtle Rebecca Marcum Roberts and he was a retired employee of Bundy Tubing. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by five brothers: Aubrey Roberts, Stanley Roberts, Johnny Roberts, Wendell Roberts and Bernard Roberts and by one sister, Janice Derickson. He is survived by two brothers: Jesse (Janice) Roberts of Winchester and Delmar Dean (Shirley) Roberts of Versailles; four sisters: Imogene Antrobus of Lawrenceburg, Correne Hatton of Stanton, Geraldine Crabtree of Clay City and Alma Faye (Floyd) York of Lexington and by his special friends Pasha and Henry Chaney. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Willard Estep will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Roberts Cemetery, Morris Creek Road, Stanton with Jimmy Roberts, Hal Dean Roberts, Steve Roberts, Glen Crabtree and Charlie Crabtree serving as pallbearers.
