Ralph Denny Patrick, age 76, of 11th Street, Clay City, KY passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 10, 2015. He was the son of the late Bascum and Ruth Vancleve Patrick and a retired employee and UAW Union member of Rockwell International. He was a member of Clay City United Methodist Church and a former Clay City Councilman. He also delivered the Lexington Herald Leader newspaper to Winchester and Clay City for several years. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Patrick. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Johnson Patrick and his son, Darrin Patrick of Clay City and by his uncle, Wayne Patrick. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday and funeral services officiated by Rev. Kim Rose will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton. Interment will be in Clay City-Eaton Cemetery with Cody Meadows, Barry Rose, Harry Fiethaus, Gary Morton, Ashley Kirk and Wayne Fortney serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Hugh and Connie Reed, Herman DeVary, Wayne Patrick, Billy Patrick, Jessica Young, Sarah Bowling and Hospice East. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
