Elizabeth Ellen Rose Powell, age 61, widow of Charles Powell, of Shuler Road, Clay City, KY passed away at University of Kentucky Hospital on April 18, 2015. Born in Clark County, KY she was the daughter of Marie Thurman Wright and the late Wilmore Wright. She is survived by her mother, Marie Wright; three sons: Charles Owen "Chuck" and his wife Lottie "Tiny" Powell, Lloyd Wayne and his wife Jaime Powell and Joshua Lee Powell all of Clay City; one brother, Wayne Wright of Stanton; one sister, Julie Berryman of Lawrenceburg; one niece, Leslie and her husband Robbie Roe of Lawrenceburg and by five grandchildren: Mason Storm Powell, Colton Nicholas Powell, Sydney Ellen Powell, Shelby D. Warner and Lindsay Parks. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. and funeral services officiated by Rev. M. C. Rice will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
