Lois Jean Martin, 82, wife of Arlis, of Campton Road, Stanton passed away at her residence on March 21, 2015. Born in Clay City, KY she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Nellie Ruth Estes Armour. Jean was a homemaker and member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church and the Women's Christian Association at Shiloh United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Arlis Martin; four children, Steve Martin and his wife Terry, Arliss "Sissy" Crowe and her husband Mark, Billie Ann Fugate and her husband Bubby and Timothy Lee Martin all of Stanton; three sisters, Barbara Reed of Norton, VA, Betty Ballash and her husband Tom of Niceville, FL and Donna Harvey and her husband Ted of Charleston, SC; 10 grandchildren, Steven Dallas Martin and his wife Dallie, Josh Crowe and his wife Ashley, Zachary Fugate and his wife Charanda, Kendall Martin and his wife Lori, Jarrod Crowe and his wife Amanda, Jeremy Fugate and his wife Jessi, Danielle Crabtree and her husband Lawrence, Courtney Martin, Kyle Thacker and Matthew Dobbs; 20 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation is 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Mike Lehman and Rev. Derek Hickman will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 2652 Campton Road in Stanton. Interment will be in Clay City-Eaton Cemetery with Steven Dallas Martin, Josh Crowe, Kendall Martin, Jarrod Crowe, Zachary Fugate and Jeremy Fugate serving as active pallbearers.
