Elizabeth Golden Tolson Begley, age 88, widow of C. B. Begley, Stanton, KY passed away at Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Born in Campton, KY she was the daughter of the late Leck and Carrie Perry Tolson. She was a housewife, a member of Stanton Christian Church and the Powell County Homemakers Club. She is survived by three daughters: Serena (Gary) Bowen of Stanton, Janice (Raymond) Hall and Teresa (Michael) Murphy both of Lexington; one brother, Hershell (Ruth) Tolson of Somerset; six grandchildren: Becky (Scott) Wells, Pleasant (Aaron) Marsee, Lindsey (Aaron) Willoughby, Suzetta Yates, Johnathan Hall and Dennis (Julie) Briscoe and 11 great grandchildren: Jacob Yates, Bailey Yates, Elizabeth Yates, Jordan Hall, Austin Hall, K. C. Hall, Luke Briscoe, Carter Briscoe, Landon Wells, Levi Wells and Jake Marsee. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by five brothers: Cecil Tolson, Leroy Tolson, Arnold Tolson, Zernie Tolson and Stanley Tolson and by four sisters: Sadie Hall, Edna Pasley, Francis Wolf and Grace Robinson. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Chris Moon will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Stanton Christian Church, 100 West Church Street, Stanton, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY and 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral on Wednesday at the church. Interment will be in Powells Valley Cemetery, Clay City with Aaron Marsee, Scott Wells, Aaron Willoughby, Dennis Briscoe, Johnathan Hall, Jacob Yates and Jordan Hall serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are members of Powell County Homemakers Club, Pam Dooley, Karen Graham, Paula Phipps, the staff of Wolfe County Health and Rehabilitation Center, John and Ida Bowen, Richard Fain, Dwain and Nellie Anderson, Kathryn Cox, Phillip Wells, Ann Cecil Noss, Michelle Sparks Allen and Jennifer Burnett.
