Marlene Cheryl Wilson, age 67, of East College Avenue, Stanton, KY passed away at her residence on Friday, February 6, 2015. Born in Hamilton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mattie Mercer Ballinger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two children, Junior Wilson and Sherry Wilson and by two sisters, Helen Crull and Charlotte Highfill. She is survived by two sons, David (Loraine) Crosson, Fayetteville, NC and Jonathan Crosson, Walton, KY; four daughters: Candis (Nicholas) Burton, Stanton, KY, Marita (Donnie) Wright, West Liberty, KY, Rebecca (Nathaniel) Merritt, Ridgeley, WV and Rachael Stokes, South Lebanon, OH; two brothers: Aaron Ballinger and Kenneth Ballinger; three sisters: Margaret Mullins, Carolyn Fields and Judy Call and 16 grandchildren: Caitlin Crosson, Ali Barakat, Dana Crosson, Lindsey Crosson, Brian Stokes, Dylan Stokes, Megan Banas, Nicholas Brewer, Kelly Brewer, Addison Merritt, Kaylyn Merritt, Shelbie Haddix, Andrew Haddix, Jocelynn Wilson, Patience Burton and Nikayla Burton. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral at 12:00 Noon on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Stanton Cemetery with David Crosson, Keith Maupin, Wayne Maupin, Aaron Ballinger, Nicholas Burton and Donnie Wright serving as pallbearers.
