Tyler Scott Brewer, age 23, of Sycamore Road, Stanton, KY died January 24, 2015 at the scene of an automobile accident on Black Creek Road, Clay City, KY. He was a former member of the Powell County Pirate Football Team and he was a veteran of the U S Marines. Tyler was currently a welding student at Maysville Community and Technical College. He is survived by his parents, Doug and Becky Conley Brewer of Stanton; one sister, Baylee Brewer of Stanton; paternal grandmother, Lena Brewer of Stanton; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Conley of Stanton; paternal great grandfather, Grady (Eva) Jones of Clay City; maternal great grandmother, Reva Crowe of Stanton; two uncles, Darren (Jenell) Brewer and Darhyl Brewer of Stanton; two aunts, Beth Pennington of Stanton and Jo (Billy) Luxon of Richmond and by several cousins. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Ave., Stanton, KY. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Anthony Molihan will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 755 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment with military honors will be in Donnie G. Randall Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Highway 15, Stanton, KY. Active pallbearers are Brett Pelfrey, Sawyer Denniston, Aaron McIntosh, Christian Brewer, William Luxon and Jacob Morton.
