Allie F. Curtis, age 86, widow of William "Ted" Curtis, of Winchester Road, Clay City, KY passed away on January 23, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY. Born in Powell County, KY she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Rosa Larrison Curtis and she was a retired factory employee from A.O. Smith Corp. She is survived by one daughter Taffie J. Curtis of Clay City, KY; one sister, Laura Mae Combs of Cable, OH; two grandchildren, Candace and her husband, James Anderson and Bobby D. Curtis Sr. and three great grandchildren, Bobby D. Curtis Jr., Clayton Anderson and Josi Anderson. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by five children: William Wayne "Red" Curtis, Robert C. Curtis, Ronnie Ray Curtis, Gary Ray Curtis and Patricia Ann Curtis; four brothers: Earnest Curtis, Verlin Curtis, Vernon Curtis and Charlie Curtis and by two sisters, Margaret Snowden and Bessie Witt. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Sunday and funeral services officiated by Rev. Marion Brewer will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 26, 2015 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Stonegate Cemetery with James Anderson, Linville Bellamy, Ricky Willoughby, Cody Willoughby, David Hubbard, Gary Willoughby, David Curtis and Kenny Faulkner serving as pallbearers.
