Shrilda Haddix Overbee, age 75, of Morris Creek Road, Stanton, Kentucky passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Born in Jackson, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Logan and Rosie Howard Haddix. Shrilda was a former School Bus Driver with the Clark County, Kentucky School System and she was a member of the Morris Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Shelby Overbee; one son: Gregory Logan Haddix of Middletown, Ohio; four daughters: Debbie Cummins of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Sheila (Frank) Sama of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Shelda Watts and Sereace Covey both of Stanton, Kentucky; four brothers: Henley (Cheryl) Haddix, Orville (Vickie) Haddix, Hugh Logan Haddix and Marshall Haddix all of Middletown, Ohio; three sisters: Urshel Arnett, Margie Baray and Jalia (Gary) Hollon all of Middletown Ohio; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Friday, December 5, 2014 until 7:00 P.M. and funeral services officiated by Bro. Gary Willoughby will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday evening as well at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Covey, John Haddix, John Covey and Brother Willard Estep.
