Charla Jo Thorpe, age 43, of Courtney Lane, Stanton, KY passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY. Born in Lexington, KY she was the daughter of William M. and Linda Roberts Thorpe of Stanton, KY. Charla Jo was a former truck driver and a member of Stanton Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her brother, Clinton Wade Thorpe. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by three daughters: Jazmen Thorpe and Sarah Thorpe of Stanton, KY and Alyssa Hendershot of Jeffersonville, IN; one sister, Sharon Taylor of Florida; one grandchild, Kaleb Morton Thorpe; a sister-in-law, Michelle Thorpe and by three nieces: Courtney Thorpe, Jacey Thorpe and Leah Taylor. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Friday, November 21, 2014 and funeral services officiated by Bro. Ed Thomas and Bro. Warren Rogers will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in the Roberts Cemetery with David Thorpe, Rick Roberts, Dan Thorpe, Jim Thorpe, Collin Frazier and Brandon Patterson serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Drake, Gary Lee Asch II, Violet Townsend Moore, Ruby Haddix, Michelle Thorpe and Jenna Roberts. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
