Henrietta Rita Kirchner, age 92, of Boone Creek Road, Stanton, KY passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Born in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late John Kokowicz and the late Gertrude Jaranowski Kokowicz. She was a retired medical secretary for the Children's Hospital of Detroit, MI and a former president and secretary of the Women's Auxiliary of Michigan Amvets. She was a part time piano teacher and a member of Our Lady Of The Mountain Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph T. Kirchner and by two brothers, Edmund and Eugene Kokowicz. She is survived by two sons: Keith C. and his wife Karlin Kirchner of Irasburg, Vermont and Gregory John and his wife Lorraine Kirchner of Warren, MI; one daughter, Karen and her husband Eligah Vires of Stanton, KY; one sister, Bernadette Stodola of Sarasota, FL; special friend Mikki Silva; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Our Lady Of The Mountain Catholic Church, 1093 East College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Morris Creek Road, Stanton, KY. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
