Lurie Mae Nolan Wills, age 81, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014. Born in Wolfe County, KY she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Dorothy Centers Brewer. She was a homemaker and a Kentucky Colonel and she attended Spring Street Baptist Church, Mt. Sterling, KY. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Robert, Kenneth and Edison Brewer. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica Rogers of Mt. Sterling, KY; two brothers: Jimmy Brewer and Charles Brewer, Jr. both of Dayton, OH; one sister, Margie Long of Hillsboro, OH; two grandchildren: Joshua Rogers and Christy Knox and by two great grandchildren, Robert Michael Knox and Jacob Whitt. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday and funeral services officiated by Rev. John Runyon and Rev. Marion Brewer will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Nolan Cemetery, Stanton, KY with Robbie Knox, Cory Knox, John Nolan, Preston Nolan, Danny Abner, Shannon Smith, Joshua Rogers and Jacob Whitt serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Brian Knox, Danny Knox and Samuel Long. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
