Sylvia Faye Moberly, age 76, of Brack Blythe Road, Clay City, KY passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY. Born in Hazard, KY she was the daughter of the late Adam and Mae Rogers Williams and she was a former employee of the Holiday Inn. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Moberly; two brothers, Grover Thurman and Robert Thurman and by one sister, Gloria Woolum. She is survived by two daughters: Vicki (James) Haddix of Clay City, KY and Pamela (Larry) Hood of Stanton, KY; one stepson, Russell Dean (Pat) Moberly of Hindman, KY and one stepdaughter, Pat (Donnie) Hayes of Hindman, KY; eight grandchildren: Misty Haddix, Anthony Haddix, Tosha (Ray) Self, J. D. (Candy) Haddix, Steven (Ashlee) Haddix, Krystle (Patrick) Lynam, Sara (Brian) Osborne and Billy Hood and by 12 great grandchildren. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. followed by funeral services officiated by Bro. Ron Pelfrey and Bro. Anthony Molihan at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY.
