Alma Louise Trent, age 67, West Railroad Street, Stanton, KY passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014, at her residence. Born in Powell County, KY she was the daughter of Liz Townsend Baber and the late Reece Baber. She was a former factory employee of Continental Metal Specialty and she attended Vaughns Mill Church of God. In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Trent. She is survived by her mother, Liz Baber of Stanton, KY; two sons: Rodney "Bud" Wireman, Jr. and his wife Cristy of Prestonsburg, KY and Shannon Scott Gilbert of Corbin, KY; two daughters: Salena Gail Spencer and her husband Jimmy of Stanton, KY and Leesa Peters and her husband Jason of Beattyville, KY; one brother, Gary Baber and his wife Trecia of Clay City, KY; one sister, Lillie Combs and her husband Danny of Clay City, KY and eight grandchildren: Linsey Shanks, Katelyn Peters, Hannah Peters, McKenna Wireman, Joshua Gilbert, Tyler Gilbert, Cameron Gilbert and Spencer Gilbert. Visitation after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday and funeral officiated by Bro. David Hopper will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Kennon Cemetery with Bezel Hall, Darren Farmer, Brandon Farmer, James Thorpe, Jeff Brewer and Brett Farmer serving as active pallbearers.
