Sheryl Marlene Buckner, age 67, of Stanton, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at U. K. Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Lexington, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Lamer Trulan and Doris Quillen Wireman. She was a former social worker with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and she was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Anthony Wayne Buckner. She is survived by her daughter, Roni Michelle Buckner of South Carolina; two sisters: Sylvia Spurlock of Winchester, Kentucky and Linda Kay Hanley of Nicholasville, Kentucky and by three grandchildren. Visitation after 6:00 P.M. Thursday and funeral service officiated by Rev. Anthony Molihan will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 19, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery, Stanton, Kentucky. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
