Katherine Faulkner Kinser, age 78, widow of James Forest Kinser, of Riverview Drive, Stanton, Kentucky passed away at her residence on Friday, July 25, 2014. Born in Stanton, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Mary Drake Faulkner. Katherine was a former secretary at Stanton Elementary School and she was a member of Stanton Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Paul, Jouett and James Faulkner. She is survived by three sons: Steven Kinser, John (Teresa) Kinser and Myron (Gina) Kinser all of Stanton, Kentucky; four grandchildren: Lori (Daniel) Barry, Travis (Annie) Kinser, Daniel (Elaina) Kinser and Evan James Kinser and by three great grandchildren: Cassidy Barry, Aidan Barry and Jordyn Elizabeth Kinser. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Monday and funeral services officiated by Bro. Jonathon Lewis will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, Kentucky. Interment will be in Stanton Cemetery alongside her husband, James Forest Kinser. Active pallbearers are Travis Kinser, Daniel Kinser, Kyle Thacker, Steve Martin, Steve Mallory, Evan Kinser and Paul Mallory. Honorary pallbearers are Billie Long, Wanda Cunningham, Walter and Betty Hampton and her former associates at Stanton Elementary School.
