Catherine Demmons Watson, age 75, of Blackburn Street, Stanton, Kentucky passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Mary Craig Burd. She was a former factory employee at Continental Metal Specialty, Inc. and she was a member of Stanton Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Leon Burd. She is survived by four daughters: Cheryl (Tracy) Stone of Winchester, KY, Kim (Mike Witt) Demmons, Carrie (James) Richardson and Roberta (Preston) Nolan all of Stanton, KY; one sister, Bobbi Brokaw of Ira, MI; sister in law, Liz Burd of Cosco, MI; seven grandchildren: Gracie Richardson, Cathy Richardson Willoughby, Shayna Stone, Donovan (Amanda) Nolan, Chelsea Nolan, Kayla (Ryland) Ledford and Anthony (Morgan) Lenyard and four great grandchildren: Daniel James Willoughby, Levi Haydon Willoughby, Noah William Michael Ledford and Miranda Miller. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Friday and funeral services officiated by Bro. Garland Lacy will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will follow in Stonegate Cemetery, Stonegate Drive, Stanton, KY with Preston Nolan, James Richardson, Tracy Stone, Donovan Nolan, Anthony Lenyard and Ryland Ledford serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Staff of Hospice East, Mike Witt, Elizabeth Warren, George and Vicki Wilicki and Carol Maggard. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
