Victor Leroy (Pee Wee) Gentry, age 77, husband of Betty Baker Gentry of High Rock Road, Stanton, KY passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, KY. Born in Lee County, KY he was the son of the late Frank and Nannie Drake Gentry. He was a member of Bowen First Church of God and he was a founding member of the Middlefork Fire Department. He was the retired owner and operator of Gentry Trucking Company. Surviving relatives are his wife, Betty Gentry; daughter, Glenna Gentry-Blythe; grandson, Shade Blythe and great grandson, Gage Blythe all of Stanton, KY; two brothers: Billy Gentry and Malcom (Janice) Gentry both of Ohio; three sisters: Wanda McKinney and Carrie (Gordon) Bricker both of Ohio and Brenda (Jay) Young of Winchester, KY. Funeral services officiated by Bro. Steven Williams, Bro. Stephen Donithan and Bro. Larry Mullins will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Bowen First Church of God. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the Gentry Family Cemetery with Shade Blythe, Gage Blythe, Sherwin Baker, Sheldon Baker, Eddie Baker, Eugene Patton, Jon Skidmore and Timmy Tipton serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ernest Crabtree, Bob Lane, Amon Back, Oliver Combs, Bill Cress, Bill Spencer, Jim Dennis, Roger Baker, J. T. Smith, James Ed Dennis and Gary Napier.
