Diana Pelfrey Crase, age 74, of Morris Creek Road, Stanton, KY passed away on Tuesday morning, January 7, 2014 at her residence. Born in Buckskin, OH she was the daughter of the late Willie Claybourne Pelfrey and the late Joyce Shull Pelfrey. She was a retired Certified Nurse's Aid and she was of the Southern Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Crase and by her brother, Larry Pelfrey. She is survived by two sons: Charles F. Crase and his wife Cathy of Candler, NC and Earl S. Crase of Stanton, KY; one sister, Sandra Turner of Texarkana, AR; three grandchildren: Stephanie Rene Crase, Monica Annette Crase and Andrew John Crase; one step grandson, Thomas Wade Shelton and by four great grandchildren: Melody Haney, Taryn Haney, Isabella Crase and Caden Crase. Visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, January 10, 2014 and funeral services officiated by Rev. Robert Cundiff will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in the Crase Cemetery, Vancleve, KY alongside her husband, Clyde Crase. Pallbearers are Danny Pelfrey, Bud Pelfrey, Ivan Kirby, William Ledford, Tony Powers and Jerry Crase.
