Bonnie Jean Morton, age 77, of Eddie Ridge Road, Clay City, KY passed away at her residence on Friday, November 29, 2013. Born in Powell County, KY she was the daughter of the late English and Mattie Willoughby King. She was a former registered nurse at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH and she was a member of Three Cross Baptist Mission in Clay City, KY. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Donald King. She is survived by her husband, Arnold B. Morton; two sons: Darwin R. and his wife Lana Morton of Australia and Barry D. and his wife Martha Morton of Andersonville, TN; two daughters: Angela and her husband Joseph Brewer of Homer, Alaska and Cynthia N. and her husband Jerry Larrison of Clay City, KY; five brothers: Bedford and his wife Estille King, Thomas King and John K. and his wife Lois King all of Stanton, KY, Equilis and his wife Sue King of Jeffersonville, KY and Chester and his wife Janet King of Mt. Sterling, KY; seven sisters: Vina Morton and Janet Meadows both of Clay City, KY, Alta and her husband Arnold Rouch of West Carrolton, OH, Margaret Sue and her husband Eugene Collett of Hamilton, OH, Marsha and her husband Eddie McCoy and Mable McIntosh both of Stanton, KY and Olga and her husband Roger Sullivan of Falmouth, KY; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Saturday and funeral services officiated by Bro. Steve Skinner will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in the Miller-Willoughby Cemetery, Cane Creek Road, Stanton, KY with Josh Larrison, Bryan Larrison, Darwin Morton, Barry Morton, Joseph Brewer, Jerry Larrison and Adam Morton serving as pallbearers.
