Joyce Marie Riggs, age 62, of Breckenridge Street, Stanton, Kentucky passed away at her residence on Friday, November 8, 2013. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana she was the daughter of the late James Sherman Riggs, Jr. and the late Lois Lorraine Jackson Riggs. She was a graduate of Powell County High School, a veteran of the U S Air Force and a member of Stanton Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Elizabeth Riggs. She is survived by two brothers: Rick and his wife Shelia Riggs of Stanton, Kentucky and Duane and his wife Samantha Riggs of Chiefland, Florida; two sisters: Debbie and her husband Jim Norman of Owosso, Michigan and Diane and her husband Brad Clapp of Flint, Michigan and by her best friend, Sue A. Ratliff of Stanton, KY. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
