Vivian Pearl "Boots" Morton, age 78, wife of James Owen Morton, Jr. of Nancy, KY passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY. Born in Happy, KY she was the daughter of the late William and Cora Partin Wooten. She was a homemaker and she attended Jabez Church of God. She is survived by her husband, James Owen Morton, Jr.; two sons: Bobby Morton of Nancy, KY and Larry Morton of Eubank, KY; a daughter Linda "Cookie" and her husband Carlos Rogers of Stanton, KY; one brother, Buddy and his wife Donna Banks of Winchester, KY; one sister, Mannie Atkins of Indiana; nine grandchildren: Angie Creech, Lisa Rogers, Debbie Dennison, Amanda Kingsley, Mike Morton, Scottie Morton, Steven Morton, Kevin Morton and Bobby Morton; several great grandchildren along with special friends, Harvey and Barbara Morton. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday and funeral services officiated by Rev. Anthony Molihan will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue in Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Stanton Cemetery with Carlos Rogers, Jim Hughes, Harvey Morton, Jerry Morton, Danny Elkins and Tony Morton serving as pallbearers. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
