Sandy Gaye Ball, age 61, of Winchester Road, Clay City, KY passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her residence. Born in Pikeville, KY she was the daughter of the late Orval Maggard and the late Frona Mullins. She was a homemaker and she was a member of the Open Window Worship Center In Jesus Name of Richland, VA. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Ball. She is survived by her fiancé, James Strange of Clay City, KY; two sons: Kevin and his wife Patricia Mullins of Clay City, KY and Johnny Mullins of Whitesburg, KY; one daughter, Angela and her husband Rodney Bentley of Winchester, KY and by ten grandchildren: Alexandria Elkins, Kelvin Elkins, William Winburn, Wesley Winburn, Olivia Bentley, Tanner Bentley, Whitney Addington, Brandon Lester, Chandler Lester and Marty Bowman. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with funeral services at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue in Stanton, KY. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Clyde Bentley and Rev. Doug Johnson will be at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 at Dorton General Baptist Church in Dorton, KY. Visitation will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at Dorton General Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Wright Cemetery, Myra, KY with Kelvin Elkins, William Winburn, Wesley Winburn, Tanner Bentley, Kevin Mullins, Johnny Mullins, Rodney Bentley and Paul Mullins serving as pallbearers.
