James Jeffrey Maxey, age 56, son of Pearl Stone Maxey and the late Esley Maxey, Jr. of Germantown, OH died on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 at Lifecare Hospitals of Dayton in Miamisburg, OH. In addition to his mother he is also survived by one brother, Gregory Lynn Maxey and by one nephew, Nicholas James Maxey both of Germantown, OH; three aunts: Mattie Mae Frazier of Centerville, OH, Juanita Brandenburg of Clay City, KY and Mary Poole of Winchester, KY and a host of cousins. Visitation will begin at Noon followed by his funeral services at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 W. College Ave., Stanton, KY. Burial will follow in the Stanton Cemetery with Larry Meadows, Todd Rader, Frank Caudill, Floyd Holbrook, Michael Stone and Steve Billings serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ray and Evangeline Duff. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
