Helen Louise Leach, age 69, of Manning Road, Stanton, KY passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her residence. Born in Wolfe County, KY she was the daughter of the late Letcher Brewer and the late Carrie Hatton Brewer. Louise was a member of the Powells Valley Baptist Church and she was a former security guard at the Clay City Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Porter Brewer and by two sisters, Minnie Smith and Maudie Farmer. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Leach, Sr.; two sons: Raymond Leach, Jr. and his wife, Lisa of Clay City, KY and Charlie Leach of Stanton, KY; two grandchildren: Benjamin Leach and Jonathan Leach of Clay City, KY; five brothers: William N. (Deloris) Brewer, New Carlisle, OH, Pearl (Clara) Brewer, Harvey Kenneth (Sharon) Brewer, George (Louise) Brewer and Melvin (Helen) Brewer all of Clay City, KY and by two sisters: Norma (Donnie) Briscoe, Glenwood, IN and Brenda (Tracy) Farmer, Clay City, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 and funeral services officiated by Rev. Marion Brewer and Rev. Anthony Molihan will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in the Leach Cemetery, Jeffersonville, KY with Kenny Brewer, George Brewer, Randy Smith, Sr., Randy Smith, Jr., Allen Farmer, Jonathan Leach and Benjamin Leach service as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Dwight Thomas (Bump) Leach. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice East. Arrangements by Hearne Funeral Home, Inc.
