Oscar W. Hall, age 56, of Hall's Lane, Stanton, KY passed away at U K Medical Center, Lexington, KY on Monday, June 17, 2013. Born in Cincinnati, OH he was the son of Lottie Spencer Pugh and the late Albert Hall, Jr. He was a former construction worker and he attended 1050 Church Of The Living God. He is survived by his mother, Lottie Pugh of Clay City, KY; one daughter, Melissa Rose Hall; two brothers, Charles (Carlene) Hall of Stanton, KY and Joe Wesley Pugh of South Carolina; six sisters: Bernice (Butch) Phelps and Shirley Catron of Florida, Betty (Rodney) Townsend of Clay City, KY, Catherine Hall and Alberta (Rex) Meeks of Frenchburg, KY and Irene Strange of Stanton, KY. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Hall, Jr. and by five brothers: Vince Hall, Vernon Hall, Oliver Hall, Ricky Pugh and Chester Hall. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. and funeral services officiated by Bro. Lonnie Meeks will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, Inc., 125 West College Avenue in Stanton, KY. Interment will be in the Clay City-Eaton Cemetery with Carlos Hall, David Meeks, John McClure, Josh Meeks, Dan Meeks and Elijah Anderson serving as pallbearers.
