Esley Maxey, Jr., age 84, husband of Pearl Stone Maxey of Germantown, OH died May 27, 2013 at his residence. Born in London, KY he was the son of the late Esley Maxey, Sr. and the late Emily Burns Maxey. He was a US Army veteran and a former employee of General Motors in Dayton, OH. He is survived by his wife, Pearl Stone Maxey and their sons James J. Maxey and Gregory Lynn Maxey all of Germantown, OH; two brothers, Andrew Maxey of London, KY and Howard Maxey of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Eva Pearl Lawson of London, OH and Marge Siditi of Sandusky, OH and by two grandchildren, Nicholas James Maxey of Germantown, OH and Ashley Michelle Maxey of West Carrolton, OH. Visitation begins at 10:00 A.M. followed by funeral service officiated by Rev. Kim Rose at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment with military honors will be in the Winchester Cemetery, 625 West Lexington Avenue, Winchester, KY.
