Eva Howell Watson, age 95, widow of Lonnie Watson of Furnace Road, Stanton, KY passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 4, 2013. Born in Powell County, KY she was the daughter of the late Lemon and Sarah Brandenburg Howell. She was a member of Furnace Church of Christ, a homemaker and former employee of Abner's Motel. In addition to her husband and her parents she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nona Rose; her son, Norman Watson, two sisters, Celia Nolan and Beulah Nolan; one brother, Albert Harrison Howell; one son-in-law, Henry Lee Jones and one great grandson, Joshua Parks. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Jones; one daughter-in-law, Darlene Watson and one son-in-law, Leniel Rose all of Stanton, KY; nine grandchildren: Deborah Darlene (Barry) Rose, Rusti-Lea (Cecil) Neal, David (Pamela) Jones, Charlotte (Bobby) Derickson, Glynda Jones, Danny (Lisa) Rose, Patricia (Scott) Toler, Kathy (Ronnie) Bowling and Barbara (Michael) Smyth; 21 great grandchildren and 22 great-great grandchildren. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. Saturday and funeral services officiated by Bro. Stephen Donithan and Doug Shepherd will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery with Jay Parks, Bryan Parks, Forest M. Smyth, Brandon Derickson, Shannon Rose, Ruben Derickson, Dillon Jones, Joplin Rice, Evan Toler and Kelby Rose serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Eugene and Eva Lee Watson, Carol and Dewey Hollon, Kaye and Doug Shepherd, Shirley and Eugene Reed, Donald Hall, Tommy Howell, Greg Howell, Leniel Rose and Darlene Watson.
