Estill Vires, age 56, of Happy Top Road, Clay City, KY passed away at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY on Sunday, March 3, 2013. Born in Clark County, KY he was the son of Anna Vanover Vires and the late Archie Vires. He was a former self employed truck driver and he was a devoted father and husband. Estill Vires was a member of the Clay City Church of Christ. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Mae Estes Vires; one son, Estill Lee Vires; one grandchild, Connor Vires and by his brother, Paul Napier. He is survived by his mother, Anna Vires of Clay City, KY; two daughters: Amber LeAnna Vires and Crystal Vires (Gary) Smith both of Lexington, KY; four brothers: Archie (Sherry) Vires, Mark (Charlene) Vires, Tommy (Janice) Vires and Jimmy Vires all of Clay City, KY; five sisters: Media (Carl) Witten of Moyock, NC; Mary Jayne Casey of Clay City, KY; Betty Jo (Glenn) Oliver of Stanton, KY; Bonnie (Alan) Vallencourt and Katherine (Shane) Simpson of Clay City, KY; two grandchildren, Eva Smith and Claudia Smith along with special nephew, Vincent Puente. Memorial service officiated by Bro. M. C. Rice will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY.
