Richard Lee Sanders, age 70, of Smallwood Road, Stanton, KY passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at his residence. Born in Mt. Sterling, KY he was the son of the late Jimmie Henry Sanders and the late Flora Donathon Sanders. Richard was an Army Veteran and he was a former distributor for Pepsi Cola. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one brother, Orville Pruitt Sanders. He is survived by his wife, Claudine Rose Sanders of Stanton, KY; one son, James (Leslie McKinney) Sanders of Stanton, KY; one brother, Jimmy Gordon (Joyce) Sanders of Yorktown, IN; one sister, Nancy Kirby of Muncie, IN and two grandchildren: Brandon Lee Sanders and Jamison Tyler Sanders. Visitation begins at 11:00 A.M. and funeral services officiated by Rev. Anthony Molihan will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment with military honors will be in the Donnie G. Randall Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Highway 15, Stanton, KY. Active pallbearers are Brandon Lee Sanders, Anthony Lairson, Glenn Howard, John Johnson, Brian Toler and Dennis Bennett.
