Jane Alice Vice, age 62, wife of Claudie Vice of Meadow View Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY passed away at her residence on December 11, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Harry Raymond Reed and the late Wilma Jane Martin Reed and Nora Lee Martin Walters and the late Cecil Walters. She was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Clay Reed. Jane Alice was a retired certified medical assistant with Williams and Ratliff OB/GYN and a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Mt. Sterling, KY. Other surviving relative are two sons, Chad (Rhonda) Vice and Sanford (Susie) Vice and a daughter, Lesley (J R) Butcher all of Mt. Sterling, KY; two brothers: Wallace (Debbie) Reed of Clay City, KY and Charles Ray (Bonnie) Reed of Irvine, KY; two sisters: Eva June (Bobby) Friel of Louisville, KY and C. Ann (H.K.) Cunningham of Stanton, KY along with nine grandchildren: Spencer Butcher, Sydney Butcher, Cailen Vice, Dana Vice, Collin Vice, Macey McKenzie, Mara McKenzie, Dylan Clark and Emma Wade. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Thursday and funeral services officiated by Rev. Shannon Cook will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 14, 2012 at First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 222 West Main Street in Mt. Sterling, KY. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, KY with Ronald Napier, Danny Joe Vice, Jason Friel, Anthony Ware, J R Dakin, Wallace Keith Reed and John Crouch serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Peggy Napier, Linda Barlow, Nila Crouch, Debby Robinson, Sandra Farmer Hall, Cindy Gibson, Phyllis Woosley, Lori Leggett, Andrea Ross, Donna Rhodes, Rita Lewis, Betty Poynter and Cyndi Lendon.
