Henry Lee Jones, age 74, of Stanton, KY passed away on November 6, 2012 at UK Medical Center. He was born October 31, 1938 in Powell County, KY to the late Otha and Ella Jones. Surviving relatives are his wife of 53 years, Linda M. Jones; son, David (wife, Pamela) Jones; daughters: Charlotte (husband, Bobby) Derickson, Glynda Jones and Patricia (husband, Scott) Toler; grandchildren: Bonnie (husband, Johnny) Cook, Jessica, Belinda and Dillon Jones, Ruben, Brandon and Sarah Derickson and Evan Toler; seven great grandchildren; brothers: Claudie (wife, Carol) Jones, Donald (wife, Sue) Jones; sister, Gay (husband, Doss) Wise; mother-in-law, Eva Watson; brother-in-law, Lenial Rose; sister-in-law, Darlene Watson; a host of nephews and nieces and his loyal dog, Rosie. Henry was a member of the Furnace Church of Christ and he was retired from East Kentucky Power Corp, Winchester, KY. In addition to his parents, Henry was also preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Jones, father-in-law, Lonnie Watson, sister-in-law, Nona Rose and brother-in-law, Norman Watson. Visitation begins at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 and funeral services officiated by Bro. Henry Johnson will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Hearne Funeral Home, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery with Bobby, Ruben and Brandon Derickson, Dillon Jones, Scott and Evan Toler and Johnny Cook serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby and Louise Morton, Earl and Lou Moore, Doctor Steve Wrightson, Carol Howell, Lenial Rose, Eddie and Dawn Barnes, Darlene Watson, his nephews and nieces and the staff of Hearne Funeral Home.
