Phyllis J. Neumann, age 76, of Middletown, OH died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community. She was born in Irvine, Kentucky on March 9, 1936 to the late Bert and Lola Powell Mastin. Phyllis worked as a teacher at Edgewood High School for 32 years, retiring in 1990. Mrs. Neumann is survived by her husband, James Neumann; one brother, Tim (wife, Connie) Mastin of Winchester, KY; one sister, Janice (husband, Bud) Parks of Stanton, Kentucky and numerous nieces, nephews and loving family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Mastin and sister, Pat Christopher. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, Ohio. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. Graveside service will be held at Powells Valley Cemetery in Clay City, Kentucky at 11:30 A.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2012.
