Ronald Clyde Puckett, age 73, husband of Nancy Berryman Puckett of 3rd Avenue, Clay City, KY passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at his residence. Born in Covington, KY he was the son of Loretta Combs Puckett of Clay City, KY and the late Holly Puckett. He was a veteran of the U S Air Force and a welder with Local Union 452 in Lexington, KY. He attended Faith Covenant Church in Lexington, KY. Surviving relatives are his wife, Nancy Berryman Puckett; his mother, Loretta Combs Puckett; his son, Billy Berryman of Irvine, KY; his brother, Joel (Roxanne) Puckett of Lillies Ferry, KY and his sisters: Darlene (Terry) Hounshell and Tara (Ricky) Robertson both of Winchester, KY. Visitation begins at 6:00 P.M. Friday and funeral service officiated by Bro. Ernie Sacher will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, 125 West College Avenue, Stanton, KY. Interment will follow in the Berryman Cemetery, Hargett, KY with Jeremy Neff, Michael Todd, Shannon Adams, Joel Puckett, Denzil Sparks and Shawn Goosey serving as active pallbearers.
